A few recent vids to get this thing started

Okay, so this quick post is all about Jack... hard to avoid when life is pretty much all about our little guy these days, and very happily so. :)

Here he is fully togged and out in the snow, Jan 9th.

Jack has been mastering many things lately, including walking solo (at lo-o-o-ong last), singing do-re-mi (kind of) and counting from one to ten... as well as learning lots of new words that sometimes come out sounding really bad even though they're not. For example, telling everyone what noise a duck makes in church this morning... suffice it to say that his duck doesn't quite 'quack' like a good duck should. LOL. We have a few clips to share with you... no bad sounding words in this lot thank goodness.

Do-re-mi... an early attempt captured Jan 17. We'll post a more recent one soon so you can see how his singing is coming on... and how his street-cred is plummeting... I mean, The Sound of Music?! Oh dear. Would it help if we told you he LOVES Lady Ga-Ga too? Poker Face is still one of his favourite tunes... even if it comes out sounding horribly rude too. ;) :))

Counting is the new black for Jack, always in vogue just now. However, since shooting this clip number five seems to have fallen seriously out of favour, with four being followed most commonly by 'sick' (not literally)... I dunno what the deal is with poor number five being left out all the time now... I'd understand if it was number nine that was AWOL... 'Why' you ask?... Because 7-8-9 of course! Ba-boom. ;)

Stay tuned, there's more coming soon folks.

  1. Hello All! I love the blog, thanks for posting it. I was unfortunately unable to view the videos. I would love to hear sweet little Jack counting. Samara is a fan of counting too, her favorite numbers being FIVE and TEN (always said with great enthusiasm). This is such a wonderful age and I'm sad our little ones can't spend more time together. I'm glad you are all doing well in MI. Keep the updates coming!
